Verbreken van gebondenheid en vloeken

There is a couple of steps I want to share with you, which will assist you in breaking every bondage and curses over your life and that of your loved ones.

Most people know their sin but refuse to acknowledge or are unwilling to confront them. When Adam and Eve sinned, they tried to hide their shame and themselves from God – shifting the blame for the disobedience and wrongdoing upon the serpent.

This kind of attitude creates shame and guilt, fear and frustration. But when we are willing to acknowledge that we have sinned and God alone is righteous, we allow God’s healing to flow into our damaged spirits, fragmented souls (the minds, emotions, will) and bodies. Even the evil circumstances of our lives will be changed to the glory of God.

King David, when he fell in sin with Bathsheba, he did his best to cover it up. The consequences of his sin and result were that he suffered much sickness, even to the rotting of his flesh and bones. He prayed this prayer,

“For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me.” Psalm 51:3.

And in Psalm 32:5,

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.”

Confession is the next step after acknowledging or confronting sin in our lives. It is our willingness to admit our sins through prayer and asking God for the forgiveness. King David took this second step for his pardon, cleansing and healing.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” 1 John 1:3 —- and the Blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” 1 John 1:7.

Without confession there can be no forgiveness; without forgiveness there can be no cleansing and our sins will ever be with us.

Psalm 103:3 says, “He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases.”

Thirdly, Bringing forth suitable fruits for Repentance (Mat.3:8) This step calls for performing actions of repentance to God, to others who we have wronged; restitution or returning those things we have wrongfully gained or stolen, making changes to our lifestyles that are immoral, forsaking sinful passions and appetites. This step also calls for our willingness to live lives according to the standards and commandments of God’s Word.

Zacchaeus was willing to make restitution.

In Luke 19:8 he said to the Lord,

“Behold Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor (the willingness to give up selfishness and self – centeredness and greed in his relationship with others) and if I have taken anything from any man by false accusations, I restore him fourfold” (the willingness to make restitution and giving up greed).

In John 8:10, Jesus commanded the immoral woman

“….. go and sin no more”

After He had delivered her from her accusers. There seems to be some difficulty among many Christians to truly believe that God has forgiven them. Because of this, many have not received their healing. There still seems to be some doubt and there are others who continue to feel condemned.

Receiving the Forgiveness of God and forgiving others who have wronged us would be the lasts steps before you go and start renouncing and breaking the power of bondage and curses over your life.

Pray this prayer with me,

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that You are the only begotten Son of God and the only Way to God. I believe that you loved me so much that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead and are now seated at right hand of God, the Father Almighty, where you rule supreme over all things! Please intercede for me at this very moment.

I confess all my sins, known and unknown. I am sorry for anything that has separated me from the love of God in Jesus. I give up all rebellion against You and Your ways and give up all idols that I have placed between us. I choose to follow your ways and obey your commands. I come in agreement with your word.

I repent of any un-forgiveness or bitterness I have towards any person (specifically name them). I confess all and any hidden sins that I have never confessed openly before (name them). I know that when I confess my sins, You will forgive me and keep no record of my wrongs.

God bless,

Pastor Randy Cicilia
